Chick-fil-A and A Father’s Place partner for Fathers’ Month

MYRTLE BEACH, SC, May 26, 2021 -- A Father’s Place and Chick-fil-A at Seaboard Commons are partnering this June – also known as Fathers’ Month – to raise funds to support programs for local dads and kids.

Chick-fil-A at Seaboard Commons is donating 15 percent of every gallon-sized beverage purchased, including all of its delicious teas and lemonades, to A Father’s Place.

“It’s a wonderful partnership with a company that truly cares about is customers,” said Lyn Rumage, Senior Director of Development for A Father’s Place. “The donations will go directly toward helping every child have the loving, involved and responsible father they need and deserve. Additionally, the enormous popularity of this Chick-fil-A means countless people will be introduced to A Father’s Place. People often may need support but not know where to turn. This lets them know we are right here in the same community, ready to assist, with employment, healthy parenting, fathers’ rights and responsibilities, men’s health and so much more.”

The “Community Rise! Support Gallons for Guys” promotion will only be available at the Seaboard Commons location, which is at 1940 Mr. Joe White Ave. in Myrtle Beach. The promotion runs June 1 – June 30.

“We strongly believe in giving back to our community,” said April Fore, Business Development Manager for Chick-fil-A at Seaboard Commons. “Not only is part of our corporate culture, it is a special mission for all of us here at our store. We all know that fathers are incredibly vital to their children’s wellbeing. We are delighted to help and we know that amazing customers will happily participate in “Community Rise! Support Gallons for Guys” and help us provide a huge boost for A Father’s Place and its fabulous programs.”
