Cory R. came to A Father's Place after losing all contact with his son, Dominic, due to struggles with his ex-wife. "I felt lost, depressed, and alone without my son." But then, he found us. "Through A Father's Place, I found support, guidance, and hope," he said. "They became like family to me."

Later, when he could barely afford to eat, Cory made the tough decision of moving back to Wisconsin with his parents. "I still had faith that I'd one day reunite with my son."

That faith paid off on August 19th, 2025, when CPS called and told Cory to come pick up his son. After 12 long years apart, Cory was granted full custody. "My wife and I both have prayed for this day to come," he said. "I would like to personally thank A Father's Place for giving me strength and hope."
