Cory R. came to A Father's Place after losing all contact with his son, Dominic, due to struggles with his ex-wife. "I felt lost, depressed, and alone without my son." But then, he found us. "Through A Father's Place, I found support, guidance, and hope," he said. "They became like family to me."

Enrique White began his journey with A Father’s Place last December. At the time, he was frustrated and discouraged. Despite being a certified welder, he had been unable to find meaningful employment. Compounding his struggles, Enrique was facing serious challenges in his relationship with the mother of his children, who was not allowing him to see them as he was struggling with child support payments.

MYRTLE BEACH, SC, May 26, 2021 -- A Father’s Place and Chick-fil-A at Seaboard Commons are partnering this June – also known as Fathers’ Month – to raise funds to support programs for local dads and kids.   Chick-fil-A at Seaboard Commons is donating 15 percent of every gallon-sized beverage purchased, including all of its delicious teas and lemonades, to A Father’s Place.

On January 7th and 8th, our first two cohorts of trainees completed training sessions to become presenters of our REALITY CHECK curriculum, a crash course in the responsibilities of early fatherhood.
